Managing Director
Kevin founded Jones Thorne Limited in 2016 which has now been rebranded to Jones Francis.
Kevin started his accountancy career in 2003, working for a local firm of accountants and registered auditors. During this time, he qualified with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and became a fellow of the same association in 2017.
Kevin has built a strong core of personal and corporate clients. He is committed to providing a personalised and proactive approach.
Away from the office, Kevin is a fair-weather golfer who enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Office Manager
James started his accountancy career in 2002, working for Shield Accountancy Services for 14 years. He qualified with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) in 2005.
James joined the practice in 2016 when the Kevin acquired Shield Accountancy Services.
James has proven to be an invaluable member of the management team. He manages a portfolio of clients while also overseeing the work of our accounts and tax assistants.
Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children. He also supports Sheffield Wednesday.
Payroll Partner
Amanda joined the practice in 2016 in the payroll department.
In 2020, Amanda was promoted to payroll partner. She now runs the separate payroll business Jones Payroll Services.
Amanda is the go-to person for all your payroll, CIS and auto-enrolment pension regulations queries. Her friendly and approachable manner has led to well-established relations with the businesses and individuals with whom she works.
Outside the office, Amanda likes to spend time with the family and going to her caravan on the coast. Her hobbies include going to the theatre and reading.
Accountant
Georgia joined the practice in 2021 as an apprentice accountant, after previously studying AAT at Barnsley College.
Georgia is now AAT level 3 qualified and making excellent progress towards completing this qualification in 2024.
Georgia currently works on all things accounts and VAT, helping the team complete work to the highest standards. She works with different bookkeeping software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero and FreeAgent.
In her spare time, Georgia enjoys going to the gym, running and watching cricket in the summer.
